Participants of Raid 4 Arctic Ducks
The registration for R4AD has ended and as there were quite a lot of interested parties (76 to be exact) the organizing team were forced to narrow the participating teams down to 30 vehicles. We did tell earlier that due to accommodation capacity the group cannot be bigger than 30 vehicles (60 persons)
Listed below please find those 30 parties that “won in this lottery”. Within a few days teams on the list will get instructions how to pay a booking fee. In case someone named on the list is not able to participate the raid after all, we drew five more teams as reserve. The booking fee is 250 euros and at the same time it is your confirmation. Please note, that if your team should recede for any reason, this fee is non refundable. The green market are paid entry fee and are confirmed the registration.
The booking fee covers as follows: roadmap/ booklet of the raid, stickers for the vehicle, entrance fee to Atelier Ewa Ryynänen, coffee etc served after crossing the Arctic Circle, supper at the closing ceremony and some arrangement fees. In addition to the booking fee other expenses include accommodation appr. 400 euros per person, meals according to your own taste and fuel for the journey of 3000 kilometers.
If your name is on the list you should receive instructions for the payment within a few days. When you pay the booking fee by 21th of July, you make sure you’re in. And if we don’t get payments by that date, we then offer the place for the first “runner-up”.
