2CVs in Wonderland!

Some news to make you grin like the Cheshire Cat…
These days the world is full of doom and gloom; the financial crisis, austerity packages and rising fuel prices, so we are pleased to announce that in 2CV-land prices for the National are staying the same (for the third year running!). This is an exciting bit of information since, with the recent rise in VAT, you are actually getting a better deal on last year’s price. Are you grinning yet?

Children under 16 are free of charge with a paying adult.
Pre-bookings will open at the beginning of June for two months. We would encourage you to pre-book as it helps us with the organisation of the event. Booking forms will be available in June’s magazine and on the website and, of course, you will be able to pre-book on-line. Access to the event itself will be from 4pm on Thursday 25 August ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PRE-BOOKED. For those paying on the gate, access to the event will be granted from Friday 26 August.
Site update
Thank you to all members who have been in contact with their views on the layout of the site; all of your points will be considered as we want to make this event as successful as any other. Please keep that feedback coming in!
In line with Cokethorpe School’s policy, the same dog policy as last year will stand. More details on this will be given in the next issue of the magazine.

Our music guru, Chris Alchin, is busy organising the audio entertainment for the event. We are really pleased to announce that the Surrey Madhatters have volunteered to host the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, but with a name like theirs, we think they felt a sense of obligation! We will publish more details about the Tea Party in due course. Thank you Surrey Madhatters!
